Wesley Savill is a true outdoor enthusiast. Whether it be mountain biking, hiking, skiing or running, you won't find Wes online too often as he would rather be in the great outdoors breathing in the mountain air. Wesley's venture into athletics started at a very young age as he quickly became one of Canada's top Nordic Combined Skiers winning multiple Canadian National Championships and piling up an impressive list of appearances on the international stage. Embracing the true spirit of multi-sport athleticism, Wes ran his first trail ultra in 2015 finishing an impressive 7th overall at the Iron Legs 50 miler and has gone on to post impressive finishes at some grueling races including the Sinister 7 100 miler, Fat Dog 120 and IMTUF 100 just to name a few. Wes grew up on a farm just north of Calgary and so learned the value of hard work and perseverance from a very young age and now instills that same work ethic into the young athletes he guides as Head Coach of Calgary's Altius Nordic Ski Club Hopper's Program.
